About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Speech & Language Therapist to join a specialist independent day school supporting children and young people with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and behaviours that challenge.
Working within a highly supportive and collaborative environment, you will be part of a multi- disciplinary clinical team delivering integrated therapeutic support across education and residential settings. You will play a key role in creating therapeutic living and learning environments, using clinical assessment and formulation to guide interventions tailored to each young person.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality Speech & Language Therapy interventions to children and young people with complex needs.
• Complete clinical assessments and develop individualised intervention plans.
• Work collaboratively with education and care teams to embed therapeutic approaches.
• Provide consultation, advice and training to staff teams.
• Support the development of clinically informed environments.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary planning and decision-making.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
• Be a qualified Speech & Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Have experience working with children and young people with complex needs (e.g. SEND, ASD, SEMH, developmental trauma).
• Be confident in delivering therapeutic interventions and engaging young people.
• Have experience supporting teams around a child or young person.
• Be an effective communicator, trainer and role model for best practice.
• Be highly organised, proactive and committed to achieving positive outcomes.
