Speech & Language Therapist - Occupational Therapist - ADOS Assessor

Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist / Occupational Therapist – Autism Assessments (Associate)
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Contract: Associate / Self-employed
Start Date: ASAP
Rates per Assessment:

  • Autism Only – SLT/OT ADOS: £360
  • Combined Autism & ADHD – SLT/OT ADOS: £360

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll:

  • Deliver face-to-face ADOS assessments as part of comprehensive Autism or combined Autism & ADHD pathways
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Psychologists and other MDT members contributing to diagnostic formulations
  • Provide clear, accurate input for high-quality clinical reports
  • Engage compassionately with individuals and families within a neuro-affirming framework

About you

  • HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist
  • At least 3 years’ post-qualification clinical experience
  • At least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in neurodevelopmental work
  • Formal ADOS training and recent clinical experience delivering ADOS assessments
  • Skilled in contributing to MDT diagnostic assessments and reports
  • Compassionate, professional and collaborative in approach

Desirable

  • NHS and/or independent diagnostic service experience
  • Confident assessing across wide age ranges
  • Familiarity with Autism assessment pathways
