Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse / RNLD
Location: Bristol 
Salary: Up to £38,716.40 per annum + enhancements (pro rata for part-time)
Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time (23 to 37.5 hours per week)

Overview:

Our client is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs) to join a multi-service mental health hospital in Bristol. With a ‘Good’ CQC rating, this site provides an opportunity to work across several specialisms with a strong focus on quality care, teamwork and development.

Flexible working options are available, and roles include uplifts for unsociable hours to recognise the importance of 24/7 care.

Service Types:

The hospital provides care across a range of mental health settings, including:

  • Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU)

  • Acute Mental Health (Male, Female and Mixed)

  • Eating Disorders

  • Rehabilitation and Recovery

  • Private Services

This variety allows nurses to gain experience across complex case types while developing specialist skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to service users

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver treatment

  • Support patients detained under the Mental Health Act

  • Participate in clinical governance and continuous quality improvement initiatives

  • Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff and students

Requirements:

  • NMC registration as RMN or RNLD

  • At least 12 months post-qualification experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to clinical excellence and reflective practice

  • Ability to adapt within a busy and varied service setting

Shift Patterns:

  • Day shifts: 7:00am – 7:30pm
