Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse / RNLD
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to £38,716.40 per annum + enhancements (pro rata for part-time)
Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time (23 to 37.5 hours per week)

Overview:
Our client is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs) to join a multi-service mental health hospital in Bristol. With a ‘Good’ CQC rating, this site provides an opportunity to work across several specialisms with a strong focus on quality care, teamwork and development.
Flexible working options are available, and roles include uplifts for unsociable hours to recognise the importance of 24/7 care.
Service Types:
The hospital provides care across a range of mental health settings, including:

Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU)

Acute Mental Health (Male, Female and Mixed)

Rehabilitation and Recovery

This variety allows nurses to gain experience across complex case types while developing specialist skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to service users
-
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver treatment

Support patients detained under the Mental Health Act

Participate in clinical governance and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff and students
Requirements:
-
NMC registration as RMN or RNLD
-
At least 12 months post-qualification experience
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to clinical excellence and reflective practice

Ability to adapt within a busy and varied service setting

Shift Patterns:

Day shifts: 7:00am – 7:30pm

Night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:30am
