Speech and Language Therapist – Neurorehabilitation
Location: Northamptonshire & Leicestershire (Multiple Sites)
Salary: £50,000 + £2,000 travel allowance per annum
Employment Type: Full Time
Hours per Week: 37.5 hours

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of neurorehabilitation services, for a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join their dynamic team. The service offers specialist rehabilitation and care for adults with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions. About the Role:

As a Speech and Language Therapist with our client, you will be integral to the assessment, management, and rehabilitation of residents with communication and swallowing disorders. Your role will involve devising and delivering evidence-led therapy programmes, ensuring that patients receive the highest standards of care through a person-centred approach.

You will work across several sites, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive and tailored support as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
• Devise and deliver specialist therapy programmes, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
• Ensure high standards of clinical care, in line with national guidelines
• Participate in internal training, mandatory training, and service audits
• Coordinate discharge plans and ensure cohesive therapy goal-setting
• Maintain a safe and effective environment for residents, protecting their human rights

What You'll Need:

• HCPC registration
• Previous experience in a neurorehabilitation setting
• Experience working with aphasia, cognitive communication disorders, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia
• Specialist level dysphagia competency on the RCSLT framework
• A passion for supporting individuals to reach their potential
