Rate: £620 per dual assessment

About the Role

We are seeking experienced clinicians to join a well-established neurodevelopmental service specialising in remote assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will conduct dual ASD/ADHD assessments, delivering high-quality, NICE-compliant evaluations for children and adolescents (under 18s).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive ASD and ADHD assessments remotely, focusing on developmental histories using tools such as the ADI-R, DISCO, 3di, DIVA, ACE, or similar.
  • Allocate approximately 90 minutes per assessment, with time for breaks.
  • Prepare assessment reports ready for quality control review, minimising further editing requirements.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team where other members will handle specific parts of the assessment (e.g., ADOS, QB Check, and observations).
  • Total allocated time for dual assessments: 3.5 hours.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completion of ADI-R, 3di, DISCO, or similar ASD training, along with formal ADHD assessment training (e.g., ACE or DIVA).
  • Practical experience in ASD and ADHD assessments, with the ability to make informed diagnostic conclusions independently.
  • Strong background in conducting neurodevelopmental assessments with a focus on accurate, thorough reporting.
