About the service structure
The service provides NICE guideline compliant Autism assessments for under 18s to support the local ICB and help alleviate waiting lists. A Speech and Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist and a Clinical Psychologist carrying out the ADOS, with one observing and one administering as part of an MDT. A Consultant Psychiatrist undertakes a developmental history with the parents. The SLT or OT and Clinical Psychologist will complete 4 assessments in the assessment day, sharing the workload of observing and administering. Write ups cane be completed on the day or within 2 working days.

Speech and Language Therapist

Your role

Key Responsibilities
