Your role

You’ll be part of an established, on-site clinical team working across two specialist learning environments, supporting children and young people with complex needs. These include Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, developmental trauma and a range of neurodevelopmental conditions including ASD.

This is a varied and genuinely impactful role, where therapy is embedded into daily life. You’ll work closely with education and residential teams to ensure every child benefits from consistent, psychologically-informed support.

As part of the MDT, you will:

• Complete high-quality psychological assessments and contribute to holistic formulations
• Deliver evidence-informed, individualised therapeutic interventions
• Support staff teams to create clinically informed living and learning environments
• Provide consultation, reflective practice, training and guidance to colleagues
• Promote trauma-informed and attachment-aware approaches across settings
• Contribute to whole-setting wellbeing strategies and outcome planning
• Work collaboratively with families and external professionals

About you

• HCPC-registered Clinical, Educational, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist
• Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
• Confident in assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention delivery
• A reflective, compassionate and child-centred practitioner
• Skilled in supporting, guiding and developing staff teams
• Highly organised, proactive and collaborative
•Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
