This is an excellent opportunity to join a compassionate, multidisciplinary team within a well-resourced setting that places recovery, dignity and personalised care at the heart of everything it does.

The Role

Working closely with a skilled MDT, you will help shape care pathways that support long-term stability, independence and quality of life.

This part-time role offers flexibility alongside the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and clinically robust environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for in-patients

• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews and care planning

• Oversee medication management and clinical decision-making

• Support admission, treatment progression and discharge planning

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework to deliver holistic, patient-centred care

• Contribute to service development, governance and continuous quality improvement

What the Service Offers

• Part-time working (22.5 hours per week) with a strong focus on work–life balance

• Excellent MDT support and a positive clinical culture

• Funded CPD, study leave and sponsorship of professional development through an Individual Professional Development (IPD) panel

• Leadership and management development opportunities

• Free on-site parking

• Birthday leave (an extra day’s annual leave for your birthday)

• Enhanced maternity pay

• Contributory pension scheme

• Flexible benefits including gym membership, technology schemes and healthcare cash plan

• Long service awards and refer-a-friend bonuses

What We’re Looking For

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise

• Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register (or eligibility)

• Strong experience working within adult mental health services

• A collaborative, resilient and compassionate approach to care

• Commitment to evidence-based practice and high clinical standards

• Enthusiasm for working within a multidisciplinary team

Who This Role Will Suit

• Experienced consultants seeking a rewarding part-time role within rehabilitation services

• Consultants looking to focus on recovery-oriented, long-term patient outcomes
