Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

The role
Our client is a leading international publisher of psychological assessments and training programmes, working with clinicians, researchers and educators worldwide to develop tools that shape best practice across clinical, educational and organisational settings.
They are seeking an HCPC Registered Psychologist (or similar) with strong experience in administering, interpreting and applying psychometric assessments. This hybrid role sits between the publishing and marketing teams, blending psychology, research, product development and professional training.
You’ll play a key part in shaping assessments from concept through to launch, working with authors and international colleagues, supporting validation and adaptation projects, contributing to training materials, and presenting at events, webinars and conferences. You’ll also engage directly with customers to understand their needs and support the successful adoption of new tools.
Your work will influence how assessments are used across the UK and globally, supporting high-quality practice in mental health, education and broader applied psychology.
Key responsibilities
- Use your clinical expertise to support the design, adaptation and validation of psychological and educational assessments
- Work with authors, researchers and practitioners to guide product development from concept to launch
- Assist with data collection, interpretation and review during the development of new tools
- Review and enhance test materials, including administration guides, case studies and user support documents
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of training materials, webinars and workshops for professionals
- Represent the organisation at conferences, events and webinars, sharing insights and supporting customer engagement
- Provide clinical insight to internal teams across publishing, marketing and training
- Stay up to date with developments in neurodevelopmental assessment and contribute ideas for future portfolio growth
About you
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Forensic or Educational)
- Registered with the HCPC or relevant professional body
- In-depth knowledge of autism and ADHD assessment frameworks, including familiarity with tools such as ADOS, ADI-R, and Conners
- Experience in or interest in psychometric test development, adaptation or training delivery
- Strong understanding of assessment and formulation within NHS, CAMHS, or education settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to professional audiences
- Organised, detail-oriented and proactive in managing projects and timelines
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally between clinical, publishing and marketing teams
