Job description

We are recruiting a Nurse Prescriber to join a private multidisciplinary service. You will provide ADHD medication titration and post-stabilisation reviews via remote video and telephone consultations, prescribing in line with NICE guidance using SystmOne and EPS. You’ll also contribute to a wider mental health pathway, with opportunities to flex across Depression and Anxiety services when ADHD referrals are lower.

About the role

  • 100% remote role with daily clinical huddles for updates
  • Participate in weekly MDT, clinical audit, supervision and ongoing training
  • Be part of the duty prescriber rota: triage referrals, handle urgent patient/GP queries and manage prescription requests
  • Focus on delivering safe and effective ADHD prescribing alongside a supportive team

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct remote ADHD medication reviews, titration and post-stabilisation care
  • Prescribe safely in accordance with NICE guidance and local governance
  • Offer non-pharmacological strategies to support treatment goals
  • Contribute to continuous service development and innovation
  • Attend weekly MDT, audits and supervision; contribute to incident review and quality improvement
  • Support the duty prescriber rota and daily huddles

What you’ll need to have

  • Current NMC registration and Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300)
  • At least 1 year of ADHD prescribing experience, including titration and review within an ADHD pathway
  • Experience within adult mental health services and sound knowledge of risk and safeguarding
  • Confidence to consult independently, make sound clinical decisions and escalate appropriately
  • Strong digital literacy with SystmOne/EPS or similar

It would be great if you also have

  • Formal training in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD
  • Skills and experience completing ADHD diagnostic assessments (for example, DIVA)
  • Experience in a newly established or rapidly scaling service

Benefits

  • Retirement savings plan and discretionary annual bonus
  • Generous employee discounts and flexible benefits scheme (for example, holiday buying, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes)
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave pay with a gift card for those expecting or adopting a child
  • Access to free 24/7 counselling and support through an Employee Assistance Programme

Why join this service

This is a growing, innovative private service where you will join a kind, forward-thinking team focused on clinical quality, service development and great patient outcomes.
