Job Title: Clinical Psychologist – Autism & ADHD Assessments
Location: Hybrid – Remote with occasional in-person visits to your nearest clinic (Clinics nationwide)
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (part-time and flexible options considered, including evenings or weekends)
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Your role

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll:

  • Deliver comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments across children, adolescents and adults
  • Use gold-standard diagnostic tools including ADOS, ADI-R, ACE(+), (Young) DIVA-5 and QB Check
  • Interpret findings and contribute to diagnostic formulations
  • Produce clear, high-quality clinical reports
  • Provide compassionate, neuro-affirming engagement with individuals and families
  • Collaborate within a structured MDT setting

About you

  • HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (Band 8 equivalent)
  • At least 5 years’ post-qualification clinical experience
  • Experienced using a range of tools:
    • ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
    • ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised)
    • ACE(+)
    • (Young) DIVA-5
    • QB Check (including scoring and interpretation)
  • Skilled in diagnostic formulation and report writing
  • Compassionate, professional and collaborative in approach

Desirable

  • NHS and/or independent diagnostic service experience
  • Knowledge of co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Confident assessing across wide age ranges
