Introduction

Are you a Psychologist looking for a flexible, clinically focused role with improved work–life balance?

We’re recruiting Clinical, Counselling and Neuropsychologists to join an award-winning, independent neurodevelopmental service delivering Autism and ADHD assessments on behalf of the NHS. The role is hybrid, combining remote and face-to-face working in Devon, and includes full clinical supervision and ongoing CPD.

You’ll be part of a supportive MDT including Clinical Psychologists, Neurodevelopmental Practitioners, Speech and Language Therapists, CAMHS professionals, Nurses and Assistant Psychologists. Assessments are structured and in line with NICE guidelines.

Main Duties

As a Psychologist, you will:

  • Deliver Autism and ADHD assessments for children and/or adults

  • Conduct developmental and parental interviews (e.g. ADI-R, ACE, ACE+, Young DIVA)

  • Undertake ADOS-2 assessments

  • Contribute to MDT diagnostic decision-making

  • Liaise with schools and professionals involved in the client’s care

  • Complete high-quality reports for screening and diagnostic assessments

  • Participate in reflective practice and ongoing service improvement

  • Where appropriate, conduct additional assessments including cognitive testing and school observations


Essential Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Neuropsychologist

  • Experience working with neurodivergent individuals (Autism, ADHD)

  • Familiarity with MDT assessments in line with NICE guidance

  • Excellent report writing and communication skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills


Desirable Experience

  • Training or experience with ADOS-2, ADI-R, Young DIVA, ACE or other structured ND tools

  • Assessment experience with both children and adults

  • Knowledge of NICE guidelines for Autism and ADHD

  • Experience using clinical or CRM systems
