About the Service

Our client is a Care Quality Commission (CQC)-regulated service experiencing further growth in their ADHD offerings. The service consists of a team of skilled practitioners with a diverse range of qualifications and experience. They provide holistic and responsive services in partnership with the NHS in the West Midlands, understanding and addressing the individual needs of patients.

Main Duties

• Conduct comprehensive holistic ADHD assessments for adults with suspected ADHD.

• Perform reassessments for adults previously diagnosed with ADHD, identifying any co-morbidities.

• Offer ADHD medication follow-up appointments, including monitoring treatment response and assessing side effects.

• Prescribe and titrate medication within the scope of practice, following initiation by a senior clinician and completion of necessary training.

• Assess the impact of ADHD, consider differential or co-occurring conditions and conduct risk assessments.

• Provide post-diagnostic advice, psychoeducation and support.

• Complete physical observations as part of medication treatment (e.g., height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, ECGs and blood samples).

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records on Trust electronic systems.

• Collaborate with the wider team to recommend additional assessments or interventions.

• Devise management plans with individual service users.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications for the role.

• Post-registration experience and/or evidence of formal courses and training.

• Ability to prescribe medication.
