Job Summary
Our client is seeking Clinical Nurse Specialists to join their ADHD team in the Manchester area. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with the part-time role being 0.6 WTE.
Main Duties of the Job
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for conducting ADHD screenings, assessments, and review clinics, including medication reviews and physical monitoring, as part of the ADHD clinical pathway. The role includes delivering both pharmacological and non-pharmacological evidence-based interventions, providing specialist clinical input to support the ADHD service.
The successful candidate will contribute to the ADHD diagnostic assessment process for adults over 18 years, demonstrating advanced decision-making and managing complex cases. They will collaborate closely with service users, their families, carers, and other agencies, including primary care services, to ensure effective outcomes.

Education / Qualifications:

Essential:

Current NMC registration.

Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.

Significant experience in mental health care.

Assessor/mentorship training.
