An established independent mental health hospital in Bristol is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join its Rehabilitation and Recovery service. The hospital is recognised for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, particularly those who may not have responded to previous treatment.

The Role
As Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in the assessment, treatment and ongoing recovery of patients within the Rehabilitation and Recovery ward. Working closely with a skilled MDT, you will help shape care pathways that support long-term stability, independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for in-patients
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews and care planning
• Oversee medication management and clinical decision-making
• Support admission, treatment progression and discharge planning
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework to deliver holistic, patient-centred care
• Contribute to service development, governance and continuous quality improvement

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise
